A revision of the slow/Spell Counter build
The September 13 source follows the author’s August slow/Spell Counter guide. It reports strong Archer mirror-match performance, including wins against higher displayed power, but gives no controlled matchup dataset. Its “strongest” language is an author opinion; it is not retained as a guaranteed ranking.
The logic is to cast Control first, trigger Spell Counter, and deny the enemy’s Ultimate. The author says Thorns’ four-piece relies on an Ultimate to convert Ultimate damage bonuses into Core damage bonuses; preventing that cast disrupts its damage engine.
Six priorities
- Spell Counter: highest priority, up to 100%.
- Control cooldown reduction: as close to 50% as possible.
- Sticky jewelry set (胶黏首饰套): helps win the opening Control/Spell Counter race. The author’s claim that a mirror opponent with it always wins against one without is not a controlled guarantee.
- Anat (安娜特): delays the opponent’s cooldowns. The source loosely calls this increasing the opponent’s “cooldown reduction”; the saved tooltip instead says 10% longer cooldowns and 15% lower haste around the companion. We preserve the tooltip meaning rather than implying the opponent gets faster skills.
- Devour Heaven and Earth: secondary priority; reduces enemy energy recovery after Control/Ultimate denial.
- 12 lightning/earth: speeds access to Control and its Spell Counter proc.
Updated affixes
Select armor bases with regeneration and slow resistance. Most enhancement favors fifth/sixth rolls; watch actual displayed-power changes rather than assuming every roll has identical value.
| Slots | Affixes | Enhancement |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon / head / shoulders | Physical; Ultimate/Core damage; Luck/critical chance; Thorns/critical damage; Gun-Fu damage; healthy damage | Fifth and sixth |
| Chest / bracers | Mixed/slow resistance; regeneration; block; Shadow Arrow haste; Kick Them While Down / Night Raid / Ace Marksman | Sixth > fifth > regeneration > slow resistance |
| Gloves / belt | Same first four; Trap cooldown; Control energy recovery / Flash of Insight | Sixth > fifth > regeneration > slow resistance |
| Pants / boots | Same first four; Shadowstep cooldown; Spell Counter | Sixth > fifth > regeneration > slow resistance |
| Jewelry | Physical; Ultimate/Core; Luck/critical chance; Thorns/critical damage; Revenge cooldown; reductions | Revenge cooldown / sixth; over 40% Revenge cooldown |
Reach 100% critical chance, then Luck. The updated glove/belt choice is two Flash of Insight rolls or one energy roll + one Flash of Insight. The August version instead said two energy rolls or one of each; that change is intentional and should not be silently merged. Offerings favor Thorns/critical damage, then additional damage.
Read the snapshots as dated setups
The source’s win collage documents selected victories, not a complete win/loss history. Its September set sheet contains evolved choices compared with August, including an optional Bone Shatter imprint. Maintain the distinction between the two versions and verify your server’s current control behavior before expensive rerolls.
Build-sheet details and saved evidence
The sheet uses Shadow Arrow–Ricochet, Gun-Fu–Thorns, Trap–Vortex, Shadowstep–Onslaught and Revenge–Rainstorm. Passives: Kick Them While Down, Night Raid, Ace Marksman, Fanatic. The Corrupting Assassin four-piece and Holy Silver weapon remain central; the sheet also pictures an alternative Break-Dawn Divine Light weapon (破晓神光), which gives 30% Core damage amplification against Armor-Broken targets and extends Armor Break by 1 second, at most once per 5 seconds.
Standalone pieces: Spirit Pattern Hoop, Adversity’s Fortune pants (厄运焕福), Watcher’s Expectation boots (守望者的期望), Watcher’s Spirit chest (守望者的灵心), Cold-River Arm bracers (寒川臂). Sticky jewelry is Vivian’s Resolve (维薇娅的决意): 30% chance on hit to apply a stack with 18% movement and 12% haste reduction, up to 3 stacks for 3 seconds; three stacks additionally reduce cooldown reduction by 30%. Imprints: Devour Heaven and Earth, Aftershock, Fortification, Omnipotence and Bone Shatter. Devour’s tooltip lists 50% lower energy recovery, movement speed and Core Skill haste for 5 seconds, with a 9-second trigger interval. Resonances: lightning and earth; main Demon Egg, reserves Lilith/Bro and Anat. The earth 8-piece line in this September image says 4 seconds of remaining cooldown reduction per 100 energy, while the August sheet says 3 seconds; no explanation is supplied, so check the current tooltip.
